Cannaco CBD spray and oil
CBD spray is growing in popularity throughout the UK as a pleasant alternative to using oil. CBD sprays and oils such as the range from Cannaco are much finer than most oil drops, and don't leave a residue in your mouth. It is also easy to administer without placing a dropper inside your mouth. Cannaco's mist spray delivery system is designed to enable precise dosing, optimal absorption and the convenience to easily administer with accuracy on the move.
Cannaco’s range of CBD mist sprays are available in either wild berries flavour, or mint flavour, meaning that they’re pleasant and refreshing rather than having the natural taste of CBD which can be quite unpleasant for some people.
Cannaco’s CBD mist spray uses premium quality ingredients, and is designed to enhance the effectiveness of any benefits that cannabidiol may cause. This range of sprays use MCT oil as a carrier oil, and yield the fastest results when sprayed into the mouth under the tongue, as this is one of the quickest ways for CBD to be absorbed into your body. The high quality CBD isolate is produced from organically grown hemp. There are currently no organic certifications for cannabinoid extracts but Cannaco's manufacturers do have ISO 9001 and GMP certification.
Cannaco’s CBD sprays are available in the UK exclusively at Doctor4U, and as you don’t require a prescription for it, you can just select the flavour and strength that you’d like, and check out as normal without answering any consultation questions.
What is CBD?
CBD is one of the many naturally-occurring compounds that are specific to the cannabis family of plants. It’s perhaps the second most well-known after THC. CBD is an acronym for the compound’s full name – cannabidiol.
Cannabidiol products have become popular in the UK over the last few years since products containing the cannabinoid started to appear on high street shelves. Since then, the potential for CBD products has evolved, as has the quality of them.
Cannabidiol isn’t the same as medical marijuana, as the CBD products that you can buy online and in high street stores aren’t actually medicines, as they aren’t licenced to treat any condition or ailment. However, anecdotal advice and some preliminary studies suggest that it may have certain benefits, but much more research is needed before any claims can be made about how CBD may be able to help you.
What are the effects of CBD?
It has been talked about for many years that CBD may have some therapeutic effects, but these need to be researched and explored in much more detail before any definite benefits can be announced. However, current effects of cannabidiol are thought to include relief of:
- Some mental health problems such as anxiety and depression
- Chronic inflammatory pain such as arthritis
- Muscle spasticity associated with MS
- Nausea and vomiting associated with cancer or cancer treatments
- Nerve pain
- Sleep disorders
All of these benefits are currently based on anecdotal evidence and some preliminary studies. However, cannabidiol needs further research before any confirmation can be made about the medical benefits of it. However, because of the vast amount of anecdotal evidence online, many people decide to try it for themselves to see if they notice any difference in their symptoms, despite the fact that it isn’t licenced as a medication or treatment. Cannaco’s products all contain a warning on the label that tells people not to use them as a medication, to avoid them if pregnant or breast feeding, and to ask their GP’s advice if they’re also taking any prescribed medication. This is to make sure that the terpene blend of CBD used in their oils and sprays won’t interact with anything you may already be taking.
Cannaco’s CBD mist spray and drops should not be used in place of any prescription treatments, but may be used alongside them with the advice of your GP.
If you’re new to using CBD, in rare cases you may experience some nausea, fatigue and irritability, which is why we recommend starting with a low or moderate dose of cannabidiol so that your body can adjust to it without making you feel unwell. Side effects are most common if you have an allergy to the cannabis family of plants, or if you use CBD in high doses.
Cannaco's products recreate the specific effects from different cannabis cultivars in a CBD only variant, with 0% THC. The key terpenes found within the blend are limonene and beta caryophyllene which can be found in citrus fruit and rosemary. Whilst CBD hasn't been medically or scientifically proven to be a suitable treatment for any conditions as yet, Cannaco have formulated their CBD products to include specific terpene profiles that are designed to help people with pain and inflammation. Although CBD products haven't received a licence to treat pain or inflammation, some that suffer with these symptoms might find some relief with Cannaco CBD.

Is CBD legal in the UK?
The short answer is yes – mostly. CBD is legal within the UK as long as it contains no more than 0.2% THC. As most CBD products are made from industrial hemp, the THC content is naturally quite low anyway, and further steps are often taken to ensure that it is as low as possible before being made into various products for public sale.
All of Cannaco’s CBD mist sprays and oil drops contain 0% THC, so you can be absolutely sure that they’re perfectly legal to possess and use within the UK.
CBD is not a controlled substance within the UK as long as it adheres to the strict rules. However, THC is, which is what may cause some confusion about the legality of cannabidiol products, as both cannabinoids come from the same family of plants.
THC is a cannabinoid that has mind-altering properties, but CBD doesn’t, meaning that it doesn’t have the same effect on your brain or body when you ingest it. Because of this, and the alleged therapeutic benefits of cannabidiol, CBD is legal to use in the UK in various products, as long as it contains less than 0.2% THC.
In addition to this, unless CBD is being used in a medical setting, products containing the cannabinoid shouldn’t claim to be treatments or medications, as they are not licenced for these purposes. However, many people do find that they feel some benefit to using CBD in their daily life, but more scientific and medical research is needed before it can be considered as a treatment for any condition or ailment.
Does CBD get you high?
Unless CBD is combined with THC, it can’t cause the “high” sensation that’s associated with the controlled drug, Marijuana. Even CBD products that contain less than 0.2% THC don’t have enough of the compound to cause any psychoactive effects, but Cannaco’s mist sprays and drops don’t contain any THC at all, meaning that you’re at absolutely no risk of becoming high from using them.
THC is the only cannabinoid that’s responsible for the negative press that often surrounds cannabis – specifically marijuana, as it binds to CB1 receptors in the brain. However, CBD doesn’t do this, and is actually thought to block these receptors, meaning that they aren’t activated by cannabidiol and that you shouldn’t experience any mind altering effects or feelings of being “high” that are usually caused by ingesting THC. It is due to the lack of psychoactive effects that CBD is legal within the UK.
What can I use CBD for?
People use CBD oil for many different reasons, as several people have reported benefits from using it, and is often favoured as a natural remedy. However, you should only use CBD oil if you want to, and if your doctor or pharmacist believes that it is safe for you to try alongside other medications you may be taking. Some people take CBD for anxiety, whilst others use it for pain. The reasons for using CBD oil are personal, and each person may have a unique and individual experience with it.
What dosage of CBD should I take?
The Cannaco range of CBD mist sprays all come in two different strengths – 10%, 20%, all in 10ml bottles containing 62 sprays each. The 40% variation is available as an oil dropper due to the viscosity of the liquid.
The 10% strength contains 1000mg per bottle, meaning that each spray contains 16mg CBD. The 20% strength contains 2000mg per bottle, and 32mg per spray, whilst the strongest of the range contains 4000mg per bottle, and 16mg per drop, with an average dose being 2.3 drops.
The dosage instructions from Cannaco advise that you use one spray per day, so if you adhere to this, one bottle of CBD mist spray should last for 2 months.
If you aren’t sure which dosage is right for you, you may want to start with the 10% mist spray at 16mg per spray. This is so that you can start low with your dosing and graudually build up if you feel like you need to. Some people find that they need more than this to feel any benefits, but we would advise following the dosage instructions for your first bottle, as it may take several days or weeks for you to notice a difference, hence why daily use is recommended with many CBD products.
Is CBD legal in other countries and can I travel with it?
The legality of CBD varies on a country by country basis, so it's always best to check the laws of where you're travelling to before you take your CBD spray with you. Despite the fact that CBD with less than 0.2% THC is legal in the UK, other countries laws can differ, and it's always best to make sure before you go rather than risk having your CBD taken away from you.
If you're travelling to a country that does allow CBD, you should make sure that any liquid products are stored in a clear plastic bag for security at the airport, and that any containers are less than 100ml in size. Because Cannaco's CBD produts all come in 10ml bottles, you shouldn't have an issue travelling with them as long as CBD is legal in your destination country.
