How does Vesicare work?

Signals are sent to our brain when our bladder is full to prompt us to urinate, this causes bladder contractions. When someone has an overactive bladder, the contractions start before the bladder is full which makes you urinate more frequently. The active ingredient in Vesicare blocks these signals which are triggering abnormal bladder contractions, and relaxes the muscles in the bladder. This reduces involuntary contractions and the frequent urges to urinate.

Who is Vesicare suitable for?

Vesicare is suitable for people with an overactive bladder who have symptoms of urgency, incontinence, and urinating frequently. For those who have tried simple measures to control their incontinence such as cutting out caffeine and alcohol, pelvic floor exercises, and bladder training but have not succeeded in reducing frequency or incontinence, medication such as Vesicare may be the most suitable option. Vesicare helps to control manage the symptoms if they’re affecting your daily life.
